Sustainable Urban Gardening – Session 1

This is the first installment of a new monthly series on food gardening for the urban dweller. Each program will begin with a seasonally-focused presentation on how to apply sustainable permaculture principles to grow in the small yards, raised beds, and pots normally available to city residents. A discussion period will follow, and attendees are encouraged to participate with questions or notes from their own garden (or planned garden).  The November 4th session will focus on seed saving, cover crops, winter gardening, and what to do in the fall and winter to prepare for a great garden next spring.
