I visited the West Coast Women's Show last Saturday. They had a lot of products and stuff to look at but the real reason was to meet Tony Okungbowa, the DJ from the Ellen DeGeneres show! K and I arrived about an hour before Tony hit the stage but there was already quite a lot of people sitting in the stands so we wanted to claim a spot before it was too late. We ended up watching the performance of 'Samira' "Truly Tina", a Tina Turner impersonator. She sure has the voice! It was fun to watch.




Tony Okungbowa finally appeared on stage to DJ the fashion show following "Tina Turner's" performance.



Then he played three rounds of "Tony Karaoke", a game that Ellen makes him play on her show. The object is to sing, even if you don't know the words, you should make them up like Tony! LOL


Tony laying down some beats for the fashion show which featured styles from Lace Embrace, Ariana Bridal, Change, Art 2 Wear, ashenzi, IndiVerve, Harley-Davidson, MaiTai, and Kindred Spirits.



There were some haute guys on stage. *ahem* I think the guy on the left is a fireman. *swoon*






After the show, Tony was taking photos and signing autographs. The line was so long we went off to look at things before coming back but the line was even longer! I decided to wait in line anyways and good thing we did, they cut off the line after us!

Eeee! I met Tony!
