Last week Wednesday, I attended the Katy Perry concert with my sis! I didn't have a chance to post since I've been pretty busy but better late than never! I like Katy Perry's music but what sealed the deal for me was that Tegan & Sara opening for her! I could go see them all at once! Yay! Sorry for the low quality photos in advance. I just took them with my phone; didn't want a big camera to get in the way of the dancing! Woot woot!

Farras started the concert off. He had really funky hair.  His music wasn't bad as well.

I was really excited when Tegan and Sara took the stage afterwards. They sang all the songs I liked including I'm Not Your Hero, I was a Fool for Love, Closer, and all their other popular songs from their HeartThrob album. They even sang Everything is Awesome from the LEGO movie! They are so awesome. I love their bantering on stage.

Katy Perry came on stage, starting strong with Roar. Her concert was one big conglomerate of fun, random themes, full of set and costume changes, sparkles and lights - just the way I like it! Haha. At one point Katy Perry and her dancers were dressed as cats. Kitty Purry her name was and she sang a different updated version of Hot N Cold, which was pretty cool! She ended with a bang, performing Fireworks with real fireworks and light going off in the background. She also had the audience put on paper glasses that gave us "Prismvision" hahah! I really enjoyed the concert Dancing to Katy Perry's songs are always so much fun!

Microsoft opened its first retail store in BC in Metropolis at Metrotown on Thursday, November 7th and to celebrate, the tech giant invited their first 2100 visitors to an exclusive Kelly Clarkson concert on Friday, November 8th at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.

I was kind of in despair since I wouldn't be able to line up (because of work and other plans) and get a ticket but my sis visited the store after work and was lucky enough to snag two wristbands! It goes to show that it never hurts to ask, even when you think everything is gone!

At the night of the concert, Microsoft booths were set up showcasing all the latest Microsoft products such as Windows 8.1, Xbox and the Surface tablet. Those who checked in on FourSquare were also given a Foursquare branded t-shirt.

The concert was great! Kelly Clarkson sounded amazing! She opened with one of my favourites, "My Life Would Suck Without You," and proceeded to sing a lot of her hits, some of her older ones and a new Christmas song that will be coming out in her new Christmas album. She ended the concert with everyone's favourite, "Stronger."

I must confess, I haven't visited the Microsoft store at Metrotown yet, but I will! I will update this post with photos of the store when I have them.

I waited for this concert for what seemed like forever. Bought the tickets on presale all the way back in March and have been counting down the days since! And on Monday, October 21st, P!nk was finally here! Was it worth the wait? A resounding YES! One of the best concerts I've ever been to!

The opener was New Politics. Their set wasn't too bad. I liked a fair bit of their songs.

P!nk's concert started with this ringleader guy wandering around tormenting delighting the audience with his antics. He was funny and weird! He kind of licked a guy's bald head. XD

The Truth About Love was the started off the concert with a bang. It was weird to hear P!nk's voice coming out of the ringleader's mouth!

He was going to chose a member of the audience to join him on stage to open their eyes to the truth about love.

And that person turned out to be P!nk! She was "in the audience" on screen! Hahaha she's so fun!

It's been 11 years since the last time she was in Vancouver. She sung a lot of her hits from older to newer ones and I loved them all! Clean versions of her songs because she says she's a mother now. lol 5 years ago, she'd still drop the f-bomb and 5 years in the future probably but right now she doesn't. =)

P!nk is amazing. She does acrobats while singing!

Hahaha P!nk wasn't the only one to do some acrobatics. The ringleader came out dressed out as cupid complete with diaper! Hilarious!

Apparently, P!nk likes to learn something new each tour. Last time it was guitar and this time it was piano. She played The Great Escape for us.

She flew above the audience during her explosive performance of So What. It was so awesome!
(I'm uploading the clip I took of this sequence onto Youtube. Check back later.)

P!nk sung the beautiful Glitter in the Air to end the concert. She's an amazing artist and performer and I would not hesitate to go to her concert again. Let's hope it's not going to be another 11 years before coming back to Vancouver!
