Luxury supercars have revved up into Oakridge Centre as a prelude to the Luxury & Supercar Weekend at Van Dusen Gardens in September. I managed to attend the VIP night on the first day of the display where we could mix and mingle and get up close with the supercars. Some of the attendees where driving luxury supercars themselves!

The red carpet was rolled out.

Champagne and wine were poured out.
I really loved this 2015 Aston Martin D89 Carbon Edition Coupe with the 007 themed wrap.

Live music in both atriums.

And nibbles for attendees to enjoy.

The display will be at Oakridge Centre until September 13 2015 while the Luxury & Supercar Weekend event will be held on September 12 & 13 at Van Dusen Gardens. If you are interested in cars, go check it out!

The 7th annual Garlic Festival was held on Sunday last week at Terra Nova Rural Park. It has been a few years since I've last attended. It is bigger than before, with a bigger marketplace, activities, demos, tours, and the addition of the Chefs to Field for a farm-to-plate experience. There were many dishes to taste from restaurants from all over the Lower Mainland and also a cooking competition at the tail end of the festival. The popular Casa Gelato garlic ice cream was also available! It's good to see the festival getting bigger every year!
