Q4 Ristorante

Last Sunday, I was invited to celebrate my friend's birthday at Q4 Ristorante. It used to be called Quattro on Fourth. It is beautifully decorated and has a nice warm feeling. The first thing you notice are the iron chandeliers.

Two of my friends and I shared the Pasta Pazza e Pezzi which costs $22/person. It consists of a combination of four classic pastas: Fettucine Ghiottone, Penne Arrabiata, Fusilli Tartufate and Linguine Vegetariano. My favourite was the Fusilli Tartufate which had lots of portobello mushrooms. So good! The fettucine was a bit bland in my opinion but the others made up for it. It was a really delicious meal and it's great that Q4 offers such a platter for their guests to try them all in one night!

There's always room for dessert! The only dessert our party didn't order was the Mela Croccante which I'm sure would have been good too. I tried the Panna Cotta. It was very light and a lovely end to a filling meal.

I was there myself, and was rather disappointed. High prices, under par service combined with the attitude of the servers, and the food was mediocre. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure it's good for some people.
