Free public event with environmental displays, live blue grass music by 5 on a String, prize draws, face painting, tours of the nearby Great Blue Heron colony, and many other activities for kids. The weekly Burnaby Farmers Market is nearby in the north parking lot. Plan to attend both events! Prize draws at the Environment Festival will include Farmers Market dollars that can be spent the same day!

European Festival - Weekend Pass $10

Community Paddle Day

1 Athletes Way (Creekside Community Centre), Vancouver BC
Dragon Boat BC invites you to join them on a dragonboat out on False Creek for their FREE community paddler day. No previous experience required. Paddles and PFD are provided. Please come early to sign a waiver. Children under 19 yrs will need to be accompanied by an adult. There are 3 sessions: 1PM, 2PM & 3PM and they last for 45 minutes.
