YVR Take-Off Fridays
Fridays, 9am - 3pm from July 3rd to August 28th
Vancouver International Airport
Visit YVR any Friday from July 3rd to August 28th from 9:00am to 3:00pm for YVR Take-Off Fridays. Enjoy delicious treats, rockin’ beats and spectacular entertainment that will have travellers and staycationers alike eager to get to the airport.

Circle Craft Summer Market

Come face to face with fine BC and Canadian artisans and their work: wood-turners, glassblowers, sculptors and potters, clothing and jewellery designers, toy-makers, and many more. Located in the Vancouver Convention Centre West, this has become a seasonal tradition for many. Free admission.

Shipbuilders' Night Market
Friday Nights 5-10pm - 2015 from May 1st to Sept 25th 
Shipbuilders' Square, 138 Victory Ship Way V7L 0B1 North Vancouver 
Food, art, music entertainment and shopping. On the Shipbuilders' Stage there is live music going until 10pm, showcasing talent from all over BC. The Friday Night Market also includes a Beer Garden that features local craft beer and ciders on tap. The Shipyards Night Market showcases BC's artisans, bakers and farmers. Products include; jewelry, clothing, kids wear, bakers, produce, preserves, soaps, organic meats, honey, plants, chocolate and many more must have handmade products. Don't eat dinner before you come to the Night Market, as there are at least 20 food trucks in "hot food alley" selling unique and delicious locally made food.

Caribbean Days Festival

This is a weekend of tropical rhythm, cuisine, carnival and culture as only the Caribbean can offer. Over the years, the Festival has grown into the largest Caribbean event on the local calendar, Drawing tens of thousands of attendees, it is among the very largest cultural events in BC, Canada.

People of all ages have a fascination with flying. There is something about "taking to the skies" that challenges and excites. The Mount Pleasant Park Festival is back for another year, this time with a Western Theme! Don't forget to wear your cowboy/cowgirl boots, hats, and plaid shirts! Bring your lawn chair, picnic blanket, friends, and family to enjoy a movie on a 3 story high movie screen! The event will start at 6:00pm and the movie, Rango, is scheduled to begin at dusk.

The Sunset Beach Festival comes alive on event days, so come for the festival and stay for the fireworks! Everyone is invited to come down early to enjoy the entertainment, activities and free giveaways, and the new Stanley Park Brewing Bistro licensed area. As part of the Sunset Beach Festival, SHOREFEST showcases some of Canada’s top musical acts in one of Vancouver’s most picturesque settings on the shores of English Bay.

Celebration of Light - China

The Celebration of Light is not only Vancouver's biggest event, but it's also the largest offshore fireworks competition in the world and attracts up to 400,000 spectators along English Bay each evening. Food Cart Fest Vancouver is a gathering of over 20 of the city’s top Food Carts presented by Vancity, Arrival and The Streetfood Vancouver Society. Join us every Sunday in the Summer at the Olympic Village for food, fun, and sun complemented by community markets, live music, DJs, craft food vendors, kids activities, ping pong, urban gardening, and more. Always free to Vancity and Car2go members, this year is also free with a non-perishable food donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
