Friday, February 28 - Hannah Georgas and Ryan Guldemond Mother Mother frontman Ryan Guldemond and Hannah Georgas are musical forces to be reckoned with in their own right.  Imagine them together!  An indie music powerhouse. The 5th annual Toque Sessions has all the genres you'll need to satisfy your musical palate. Thursdays and Fridays this winter, we invite you to join us at the CBC Vancouver Broadcast Centre for a FREE concert. Seating is FIRST COME-FIRST SEATED, we are not taking reservations.   A RUSH LINE will be in place for every concert beginning at 6:30 PM outside 700 Hamilton Street.  Seating is limited so please arrive early.

Vancouver Diversity Health Fair

The Vancouver Diversity Health Fair is the largest event of its kind in Canada and has evolved into one of the most exciting and dynamic multicultural events in the Lower Mainland. Last year, over 3500 people attended the fair.    This free, family-friendly event features over 50 health and wellness related exhibitors, interactive culinary demonstrations, health screenings and onsite tests, spectacular multicultural entertainment and children’s activities.

Bakers Dozen
11 am - 3pm
River District Centre, 8683 Kerr Street, Vancouver
Baker’s Dozen is an indoors baked goods market hosted by River District Centre.  For all five Sundays in March, 13 local bakers will have the opportunity to sell their delicious creations down by the river!  Best of all, admission is FREE!

2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Fan Festival

On Sunday, Mar. 2 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. -- before the puck drops for the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic -- the parking lot outside the Plaza of Nations will transform into the 2014 Canadian Tire NHL Spectator Plaza. Festivities that highlight the event include: autograph opportunities and a live question and answer session with 1994 Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final team members Kirk McLean and Cliff Ronning; interactive hockey-themed attractions; a wide selection of officially licensed merchandise and collectibles; a chance to win tickets to 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic game; and much more. Starting at 10:30 a.m., fans can enjoy a musical performance by Side One presented by SiriusXM.
