Vancouver was the last stop of FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour, which started earlier in April in Ottawa. The real FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy made its way from coast to coast, ending up at Metropolis at Metrotown this past weekend, which saw the atrium transformed into a fun FIFA activity centre.

Shuéme, the great white owl, the official mascot for the FIFA Women's World Cup, was walking around greeting people.

 Whoo!

Giant foosball tables means more fun!

Many people tried (and failed) to best the "Ultimate Goalie". It an automated goalie that rotates to block your shot. It's not that easy to get past it!

You could have also pretended to be a sportscaster at the TSN Sport Centre booth.

To see the trohpy, we went through the Winner's Tunnel.

And watched a brief 30-second film.

The public were invited to take a picture with the trophy. They had it set up so that it was just one tap to take a picture! Fancy!

The trophy itself! No touching!

Last stop was a refreshing Coca Cola.

Three to chose from, regular, diet and zero. All limited edition bottles!

Missed the Trophy tour? There will be more events during the FIFA Women's World Cup with several matches, including the championship final, being held at BC Place Stadium. Starting June 6th, 2015, the City of Vancouver is hosting a free Vancouver Fan Zone at Larwill Park (entrance at corner of West Georgia and Cambie Streets). See you there!
