Farmer’s Market at the Shangri-La

Join us in celebration of local farmers and purveyors! Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver will host its first Farmer’s Market on Sunday, June 24th.  Nine local vendors and one winery, supported by Wayne Harris, the hotel’s executive chef and his team, will gather on the third-floor terrace of Market by Jean-Georges, to stage Shangri-La’s inaugural Farmer’s Market. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the community-at-large is invited to savour, sip and shop.

Greek Day on Broadway

The HCC’s Greek Heritage Festival project would do this by promoting the Vancouver Greek community’s established presence during the last 100 years and incorporating its rich cultural heritage spanning 2500 years of history. The project will encourage public inter-cultural and inter-racial understanding, personal enjoyment and harmony. The activities will concentrate mostly in the realm of art, history, crafts, dance, music, mythology, presentations/lectures, literature and learning about the social and cultural contributions the Greek community has made to the City of Vancouver.

Festa Italiana

An outdoor festival for the whole family! Come and enjoy the best in delicious Italian food, live music, games, children activities (including a Friends of Ferrari race!) and tons of fun for all!
