The Maid of the Mist - Niagara Falls, ON

Our second day in Toronto was a Saturday and J didn't have to work so we decided to go on a road trip to Niagara Falls! Woohoo!

We got a little lost when we actually arrived in the Niagara Falls area. Didn't know where the Maid of the Mist was so we ended up taking the scenic route before turning back and finally spotting the ticket booth.

The Maid of the Mist is a half hour ride on a boat out unto the falls. You get a plastic bag to wear before you are herded onto the boat.

It only costs $19.75 Canadian to get on the boat.

Look how sexy we look in our pink plastic bags. XD It was very windy and a little rainy when we went on board.

There she is! The Maid of the Mist IV, our boat, ready to take us on a wet adventure!

And it was very wet. It didn't matter that it was drizzling. The falls contributed much more water than the sky. Good thing my camera is waterproof! My jacket sleeves were all wet!

Multiple Maid of the Mist boats were out on the water. I think they leave every 15-30 minutes.

When we got right near the falls, it was loud and wet and the boat was rocking so much!

Ooo look! I spotted another Inukshuk out on the cliffside!

After the boat ride, we walked around Clifton Hill, which is "The Street of fun at the Falls"! It's almost like an amusement park.

After lunch we continued our exploration of the area.

We even went and did a maze! There were four towers where you had to get stamps and each one had their own sound making device.

 Hit that gong!

I managed to get all the stamps and find the exit but I lost my friends W and J! I waited a bit at the exit before going back in to try find them but somehow they found the exit while I was doing that! Hahaha! So minus 10 minutes off my time.

After having all that fun, the sun was finally coming out so we decided to walk along the Falls to get some photos.
